Short term car rental — San Francisco, CA

Last updated: September 24, 2026

What affects the price

Rental car rates shift based on a few main things. When you book matters most; securing a car weeks in advance is usually cheaper than walking up to the counter. The type of vehicle also changes the bill, as premium SUVs or luxury models cost more than compact sedans. Location plays a role, too, since airport taxes or urban parking fees can add to your total. Finally, adding extra drivers or protection plans will increase your daily rate. Exact pricing confirmed free on the call.

About this service

A short-term rental is for those who only need a vehicle for a few hours or a day or two. This is perfect for running errands when your primary car is in the shop or for local trips. The cost is determined by the hourly or daily rate plus mileage limits.
